Background
The Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation Iwate Plant is located in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.[1]
The Iwate Plant commenced cement production in 1958 under the name Tohoku Kaihatsu Co., Ltd. It later merged with Mitsubishi Materials Corporation, becoming part of Mitsubishi UBE Cement Corporation.[2]
