Background

As of July 2021, the replacement project of Unit 3 was underway.[11] The new turbine will have the capacity of 20.2 MW[12] and will replace the existing turbine with capacity of 50 MW which will be retired.[13] As of January 2022, the installation was complete and the final tests were being run before commissioning the new turbine.[14]

Unit 3 is presumed to be retired based on the change in the total output of the plant.[12][15]
