Monnet Power Company Limited (MPCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Monnet Ispat and Energy Ltd, an Indian energy company.

On its website the company states that it will build a 1005 megawatt (MW) coal-fired plant at Malibrahmani village in Angul district in Orissa "as per the MOU signed with Govtt.of Orissa on 26th September 2006." The company's website appears very outdated, announcing via a ticker message that "the date of sale of tender documents has been further extended up to 30/04/2007, 17.00 Hrs. (IST). Accordingly, the pre-bid conference scheduled for 02/05/2007 will now be held on 25/05/2007at 11.00 Hrs. (IST)."
