Mountain Laurel Complex

The Mountain Laurel Complex is an underground and surface coal mining operation in Logan County, West Virginia, owned by Arch Coal. A new longwall mine opened there on October 1, 2007.[1] It is part of Arch Coal's Central Appalachia mining region, which sold 14.6 million tons of coal in 2008.[2]
