Multi-Chem is "the fourth-largest provider of production chemicals in North America, delivering specialty chemicals, services, and solutions that help oil and gas companies develop their resources in more than 30,000 oil and natural gas wells around the world." It was acquired by Halliburton in October 2011. It is a large supplier of chemicals used in fracking.[1]
