Background
NOLA Oil Terminal LLC was founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Christian Amedee and Roy M. Carubba.[1]
The project was fully approved in summary 2021 and began construction in December 2021.[1]
The terminal is planned to be built in two phases at a total cost of US$930 million.[2]
As of early 2023, construction was ongoing, and it had entered its second phase.[3]
