Nagpur Municipal Corporation is the local government agency for the city of Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Existing coal-fired power stations near Nagpur

There are two major coal-fired power stations near Nagpur, both of which are operated by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company. These are the:

• Koradi Thermal Power Station
• Khaparkheda Thermal Power Station

In addition, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation is planning to build the Bhandewadi power station, a 500 megawatt coal-fired power station.
