New Dawn Energy (NDE) launched a takeover bid for L&M Energy in October 2012. In January 2013 it was announced that the compulsory acquisition of LME had been triggered, as NDE had attained more than 90% of shareholder acceptances.[1] Mr Geoffrey Loudon is the owner of NDE and has a 28% shareholding in L&M Energy.[2]
