Background
The Malaysian power company Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is partnering with Widad Business Group to develop the New Kapar gas power plant at an estimated cost of 9.5 billion Malay Ringgit (US$2 billion). The combined-cycle plant will be capable to co-fire hydrogen when entering commercial operations in early 2031.[6]
