Nghi Son 1 power station is a 600 megawatt (MW) coal-fired power station which is currently under construction. The power stations, which comprises two 300 MW generating units, is located at Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa province, in central Vietnam.
Background
The power station is currently being built by Marubeni Corporation A 1200MW coal-fired power station, the Nghi Son 2 power station, has been approved to be built on an adjoining site.[1]
