Background

In October 2022, a bidding process for the construction of a 3 x 30 MW power project, the Ningcheng Lihe power station, was announced by Ningcheng County He Thermal Power Co., Ltd. [1] The project was to be built in Tianyi Town Machinery Industrial Park, Ningcheng County, Inner Mongolia and construction was expected to begin in March 2023.[1]

A further bidding process for the construction of the power plant's chimneys was announced in April 2023, at which time construction was expected to take place from May 2023 to September 2024.[2] [3]
