Background
The NortH2 project is one of Europe's largest proposed green hydrogen projects, featuring a proposed buildout of up to 10 GW of green hydrogen production through wind farms in the North Sea.
The pipeline is proposed to run from Eemshaven, on the north shore of the Netherlands, to a future wind-farm and green hydrogen electrolyser in the North Sea. The exact proposed location of the wind farm and the length of the pipeline have yet to be determined, but the project promoters estimate a required investment of 1.5 billion EUR.[4]
The promoters are currently working on a feasibility assessment for the project.[5][6]
