The pipeline runs from Pemex's Nuevo Teapa pumping station in Veracruz state to the Antonio Dovalí Jaime refinery in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca state, Mexico.

Background

Two pipelines, with diameters of 30 inches and 48 inches, respectively, run roughly in parallel along the route from Nuevo Teapa to the Salina Cruz refinery.

Line 1 passes through the following municipalities:

• Veracruz state: Moloacan, Coatzacoalcos, Nanchital de Lázaro Cárdenas del R., Cosoleacaque, Minatitlán, Chinameca, Jaltipan, Texistepec, Oluta, Sayula de Alemán, San Juan Evangelista and Jesús Carranza
• Oaxaca state: Matías Romero, San Juan Guichicovi, Santa Maria Petapa, Barrio de La Soledad, Asunción Ixtaltepec, Espinal, San Blas Atempa and Salina Cruz
