Oświęcim-Tworzen Gas Pipeline is a proposed gas pipeline in Poland.

Location

The pipeline will be routed through the Silesian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships. The gas pipeline will be routed through the territories of the following municipalities: Sławków, Bukowno, Jaworzno, Chrzanów, Libiąż, Chełmek and Oświęcim.

Background

The pipeline was proposed in January 2019 and Gaz-System expects to begin construction in early 2021.

As of August 2021, Gaz-System states that obtaining permission for the construction of the gas pipeline is planned for the third quarter of 2021. However, an updated project description in 2022 pushes the commissioning of the pipeline to 2024, with construction yet to begin.
