Onyeama Coal Mine was an underground coal mine in Enugu State, Nigeria.[1]
According to a 2021 study published in the science journal Nature, the mine site is now abandoned.[2] The Onyeama mine was operated by the Nigerian Coal Corporation, which is 100% owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN).[1]
