Background

Torrent Energy applied to build the pipeline in March 2018. Torrent received permission to build the pipeline from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) in March 2020. As of March 2023, PNGRB has listed the project in the 'under construction' category.
