Padmesh Gupta

Padmesh Gupta is the chairperson of Gupta Coal, the coal logistics and coal processing subsidiary of the Gupta Group, a company with interests in coal mining and processing, infrastructure, power and logistics.[1][2]
In November 2011 Padmesh Gupta was a mining industry executive complaining that environmental protections were having too much impact on the mining industry. "Conserving environment is necessary, but growth must be given priority as the country has a long way to go. There is enough waste land to grow forests, but mineral resources cannot be found everywhere, especially minerals," said Gupta.[3]
