Palu LNG Terminal is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal proposed in Indonesia.[1] There have been no updates in over two years, and the project is presumed to be shelved as of July 2024.

Location

The terminal is proposed to be located in the Palu Special Economic Zone, adjacent to the Port of Pantaloan in Indonesia.[1]

Background

In July 2022, LNG Alliance's Aslan Energy Capital entered a cooperative agreement with PT Agri Maritim Sulteng, a government-owned company that carries out provincial development, to establish an energy hub in Palu with a green ammonia production facility and an LNG import terminal. The LNG terminal would provide LNG to a 1.2 GW power plant.[1]

There have been no updates in over two years, and the project is presumed to be shelved as of July 2024.
