Background
The Paringin coal mine is an opencast mine, operated by Adaro Indonesia, a subsidiary of Adaro Group, with a capacity of 6 million tonnes-per-annum (MTPA) in South Kalimantan, Indonesia.[4]
The mine is adjacent to the Tutupan coal mine and Wara coal mine, effectively operating as a single mine complex, producing 50 million tonnes per annum. Adaro Indonesia, a subsidiary of Adaro Group operates the Paringin mine.
