Background
In July 2018, Cementi Rossi partnered with Exergy to implement a 3.5MW Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) waste heat recovery system at the Pederobba facility. This system is designed to convert approximately 16MW of thermal energy from the clinker cooler's exhaust into electrical power, covering about 30% of the plant's energy requirements.
