Background
According to a 2010 press report, Srinivasam Energy Limited was planning the 1320 Pentakota power station in Andhra Pradesh.[1] However, the project has not been confirmed in government reports.
In 2012 it was reported that the project had been put on hold, along with some other coal plants in India, due to uncertainty around coal supplies.[2]
