Background
Enap Sipetrol operates in the East Ras Qattara concession, north the Western Desert. The concession has seven fields, including Shahd, Shahd SE. The pipeline extends from the Shahd SE field, the highest producing field with around 8,000b/d, to Petroshahd receiving facilities in Qarun Petroleum Company base in El Wahat.[1]
