Background
The CRH Group acquired Podilskyi plant in 1999. The plant started operations with a wet production process in 1970, peaking at 3.8 million tonnes of cement produced in 1988 with 6 production lines.[1] A dry process kiln started operations in 2011, with 7.5 kt/day of clinker production capacity.[2] It seems wet production kilns are no longer operating, unclear if they were shut down or mothballed.
