The Port Holding Roads Stage 1 and 2 is listed by ABARES as a $90 million project proposed by the Australian Rail and Track Corporation to upgrade the rail line in the port area in Newcastle. ABARES states that a feasibility study is under way and that the project is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
