Background
According to a February 2013 report, UAE-based Burj Power signed an agreement with Harbin Electric International to develop four coal-fired plants at Port Qasim. The first plant was set to be finished in 2016 and would have cost up to US$170 million.[1]
With no further known developments since 2013, it appears that this project is cancelled.
As of January 2023, Burj Capital's website only lists wind projects in development in Pakistan.[2]
