Rashmi Metaliks Jamuria steel plant, also known as RML Jamuria, is a basic oxygen furnace (BOF) and electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant under construction in Jamuria, West Bengal, India.

Background

The Rashmi Group decided to build the new capacity in Jamuria, Burdwan (West Bengal) and was anticipated to be completed in 2021.[1] However, no recent updates on the progress of construction have been published. As of December 2023, the project is still in pipeline.[2]
