Rendsburg Port is in Osterrönfeld, Germany. It handles coal.[1]
Location
The port is located directly at the Kiel-Canal, in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein in Northern Germany. It has access to the North and Baltic Sea.
Background
The port has two mobile cranes with load capacity of 100 tonnes and 150 tonnes. It also has an industrial park with an area of 800,000 m2. It specializes in heavy load goods and project cargo.[2] The port is operated by Brunsbüttel Ports GmbH, which is owned by the Schramm Group.[3]
