Originally the pipeline was owned by the Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)[2], which has since been merged into the conglomerate PipeChina.

Background

The pipeline is located in southern Chad, carrying crude oil from the Ronier field to the Chad-Cameroon Oil Pipeline.
