Rudnik Trbovlje-Hrastnik d.o.o. (RTH) is a publicly owned company which owns and operates the operates the Rudnik Trbovlje Hrastnik mine near Trbovlje in Slovenia.
Background
Estimates of production from the mine vary between 700,000 tonnes in 2008[1] and 400,000 tonnes of brown coal in 2010.[2] The U.S. Geological Survey reports that the mine is "scheduled to shut down in 2015."[1] Coal from the mine is supplied to the nearby Trbovlje Power Station.
