The Sahapur East Coal Mine is a proposed underground project in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, India. The Sahapur East mine was included in the block of coal mines auctioned for commercial mining by India's Ministry of Coal in June 2020. It was successfully auctioned off during the first tranche, and Chowgule and Company Private Limited was identified as the qualified bidder in November 2020.
