Sandlick Loadout

According to ilovemountains.org, Massey Energy's Sandlick Loadout facility in Flat Lick, Kentucky, receives coal from Central Appalachian strip mines utilizing mountaintop removal, and supplies plants such as Duke Energy's Marshall Steam Station, and Progress Energy's Roxboro Steam Plant and Lee Steam Plant in North Carolina.[1]
