Sarir-Tobruk Oil Pipeline, خط أنابيب السرير- الحريقة is an operating oil pipeline, running from Sarir oilfield to Tobruk terminal in the East coast, Libya.[1]
Location
The pipeline runs from Sarir oilfield, Al Wahat district, to Tobruk terminal, Tobruk district, Libya.
Background
The pipeline, and its pumping facilities, were constructed in 1969 with 34inch diameter, 514 Km long pipework from Sarir oilfield to Tobruk terminal. Currently, the pipeline ships approximately 200,000 barrels per day with the aid of one pump station placed in Sarir field.[1]
