Background
Sebryakovsky Cement Plant appears to be the second largest cement plant in Russia after Mordovtsement cement plant.[1] The plant was built as part of the reconstruction efforts in then Stalingrad after the Second World War.[2]
Five out of seven kilns that used wet production method retired in 2013.[3][4]
Currently, the plant uses both wet and dry production methods.
