Background

Severo-Vostochniy Coal Mine (Разрез Северо-Восточный) is a surface mine in the Amur Oblast, Russia.[8] The Severo-Vostochniy Coal Mine is owned and operated by Amurugol JSC, a subsidiary of Russian Coal.

It is the oldest coal mine of Russian Coal.[8]

The mine's coal is used domestically, primarily by power plants, and is either collected from the site by the consumer or delivered by rail.[8]

Production in 2019 was 1.3 million tonnes, no production figures are available for 2020 and 2021.

1H 2022 production was 0.5 million tonnes.[9]
