Background on Project
Beijing Shenwu Group has proposed a 2 x 660 MW ultra-supercritical coal plant in Jvyuan Village, Xiangdong District.[1]
The project was listed in the Jiangxi Province National Energy's 13th Five Year Plan.[2]
In August 2020 it was reported that Beijing Shenwu Group was in deep debt and de-listed from the stock market. As a result, its coal plant proposal is likely cancelled.[3]
