Background

Shenzhen LNG Terminal (Shenzhen Gas) is an LNG terminal in Guangdong, China. It received first LNG ship by Eni on August 18, 2019, after five years of construction.

Second phase of the LNG terminal was proposed in 2021 and began construction in December 2022. The total investment was 3.7 billion yuan. Phase 2 would contain two storage tanks of 160,000 cubic meters each and other supporting facilities. The designed receiving capacity would be 2 mtpa.

二期项目位于深圳市大鹏新区葵涌街道下洞油气仓储基地北侧，总投资37亿元，拟建设2座16万立方米LNG储罐及其站内工艺、公用及辅助设施，并配套扩建1座可接卸3~21.7万立方米LNG船泊位和4.7公里的超高压出站管线。项目设计周转能力为200万吨/年，高压最大输出能力79.5万立方米/小时。库区占地面积约10万平方米，海域港池面积约80公顷。
