Background
The project is proposed by by ACB (India). The company states that the first 600MW unit will be commissioned in 2016 and the second unit in 2017.[1]
The Environmental impact assessment (EIA) was submitted in July 2012.[2]
Since then the project has yet to receive environmental clearance, and plans appear to be abandoned.
