Background on Project
SP Chemicals' Taixing power station began as a 60 MW coal unit commissioned in 2006. In 2014 SP Chemicals said it would expand the plant by 2 x 50 MW units.[1][2]
As of early 2015 the new units were under construction with completion expected in September 2015.[3][4]
Units 2-3 were completed in 2016.[5]
