Sitanala Coal Mine or Sitanala coking coal black is located in Bokaro District of Jharkland, and is owned by JSW Steel Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Group in India. [1]

Background
Sitanala Coal Mine was previously owned by India's largest steel producer Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), but in 2018 the government decided to take it back on accounts of delays in the development of the mine.[2] In 2023, during the 6th round of commercial coal auctions, JSW Steel has won the bidding of the Sitanala Mine. [3]
