Background
The South Valley Gas Pipeline was completed in 2009. The pipeline was built in six phases:[4][5], Phase 1: Dahshour to Koriamat. Phase 2: Koriamat to Beni Suef. Phase 3: Beni Suef to Abu Qirqas. Phase 4: Abu Qirqas to Asyut,phase 5: Asyut to Girga,phase 6: Girga to Aswan.
