Background

Tallgrass Energy representatives evidently began courting officials at Navajo Nation government meetings in early 2023, hoping to build a hydrogen pipeline that would run parallel to the Southern Trails Gas Pipeline. Discussions began two years earlier.[1]

Little is known about the potential pipeline, including what type of hydrogen (blue, gray, green) would be transported in it.[1]
