Background

This project is listed in ENTSOG's Ten-Year Network Development plan as a hydrogen-ready pipeline (TRA-N-612).[2] The description states that up to 30 bcm/year of gas might flow through this pipeline, but this is likely a large overestimate of the capacity based on current gas flows to the country. It is also part of the European Hydrogen Backbone.[1]
