Background
The Erwitte plant is the only integrated cement plant owned by the Spenner Group. In 1981, the worlds first short rotary kiln was installed at the Erwitte plant. Most recently, in 2020, the plant modernized it's grinding capabilities with a new Ø 4.4 m x 14.0 m ball mill and a QDK 187-Z cross-flow rotating cage separator grinding plant from Christian Pfeiffer.
