Background

According to the "General Layout of Power Infrastructure Placement until 2042", released by the Russian Ministry of Energy in December 2024, two units of 300 MW and one unit of 305 MW (presumably units 1-3) will be retired during 2031-2035, and a new 325-MW combined-cycle unit (Unit 9) will be commissioned in 2032.[8]
