Background
The Telen Orbit Prima (TOP) coal mine is operated by PT Tuah Turangga Agung (Turangga Resources), a subsidiary of United Tractors Tbk, in Buhut Jaya Village, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.[6][7] The Telen Orbit Prima mine encompasses a total area of 4,897 hectares, and consists of five mining blocks: Bisa, Pompot, Buhut, Julukan and Sepotak.[6]
According to Turangga Resources, the mine’s products, also known as TOP Green Coals, have prominent environmentally-friendly features such as low sulfur, low nitrogen and low boron. These specifications contribute to reducing Flue-Gas Desulfurization (FGD) equipment installation and maintenance costs in line with the current environmental regulations.[6]
