In October 2023, Russian President V. Putin signed a law allowing export of LNG from certain Arctic fields which will affect about 36 Rosneft fields and may facilitate implementation of this project.[5][4]
There have been no other recent development updates related to this project, but since its start year is between 2030-2035, it is still considered proposed.[2]
