Tambeyskoye-Bovanenkovo Gas Pipeline (магистральный газопровод от Тамбейского месторождения до СМГ «Бованенково-Ухта» (1 нитка)) is a proposed gas pipeline.[1]
Location
The pipeline will run from the Tambeyskoye Oil and Gas Field to the Karskaya compressor station, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomus Okrug, where it would connect to Bovanenkovo-Ukhta Gas Pipeline, Segment 1 (Bovanenkovo-Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline).

Background
The proposed pipeline will connect the Tambeyskoye oil and gas field to the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline at the Karskaya compressor station. Comprehensive engineering surveys have been completed in 2024.[1] A tender for performing archaeological research is scheduled to be announced by Gazprom in July 2024.[4]
Route
The pipeline will run from the Tambeyskoye oil and gas field (more specifically, North-Tambeyskoye) to the Karskaya compressor station, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomus Okrug, where it would connect to Bovanenkovo-Ukhta Gas Pipeline, Segment 1 (Bovanenkovo-Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline).
To find the starting point for the route, a segment 33 km was traced from the Tambey village to the north; that is the approximate location of the North-Tambeyskoye oil and gas field, according to official documents.[1]
To find the end point for the route, a GPS coordinate for Karskaya compressor station was obtained[5] and used as a mid-point on the route since as of July 2024 the compressor station was still under construction.[1] Finally, the route was connected to the operating Bovanenkovo-Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline at the Gas Distribution Point 1, where Bovanenkovo-Ukhta 1 Gas Pipeline originates.[6]
