The Area 72-Rustavi Gas Pipeline is an operating gas pipeline in Georgia. It is a part of the Azerbaijan Border-Center Group of the East-West Gas Pipeline System.[1]

Background

The Area 72-Rustavi section connecting to South Caucasus Pipeline was built in 2006 to supply gas for the Georgian market provided under option and supplemental gas sale-purchase contracts to the Georgian gas pipeline system.[1]
