Topworth Energy, a subsidiary of the Topworth Group, states on its website that it is "is presently developing in two phases a 1200 MW Coal fired Thermal Power Plant in Chattisgarh. We are also evaluating two additional projects of similar capacity."

One of these projects is the 1260 megawatt Sapnai power station which the company proposes to build in Chhattisgarh, India.
