Background
The power station is owned by Taiheiyo Cement Corp and is located in Kochi, Shikoku Prefecture, Japan.[1]
The plant is assumed to be separate from the Tosa power station. The retirement date is uncertain, but is presumed to be 2010.[2]
In 2013, a 30 MW biomass-fired Tosa power station using PKS was built on what was likely the site of the former coal-fired power station. It made use of the former infrastructure and personnel.[3]
